A coalition of environmental groups have applauded Governor Phil Murphy for signing the strongest Skip the Stuff legislation (S3195/A5157) in the nation. This legislation establishes, on a statewide basis, what more than 60 New Jersey towns are already doing by having single-use utensils and condiment packets provided only when a person wants them. Murphy signed the bill into law this morning and it takes effect Aug. 1.
