Roter Recycling (R.F. Srl), an Italian manufacturer of heavy-duty scrap metal balers, shear balers and automatic balers, announced a comprehensive rebranding that sharpens how the company presents its engineering heritage, its purpose, and its commitment to the recycling operators it serves worldwide.

The story does not begin in 2014. It begins three decades earlier, on the workshop floor, where the engineering experience behind Roter’s machines was first forged in the demanding world of heavy steel fabrication and scrap processing. In 2014, that accumulated expertise was brought together under a single name — R.F. Srl, operating as Roter Recycling — and a manufacturing home in Ferrara, Italy. The company is young as a brand. The knowledge inside it is not. This rebranding makes that distinction clear: a Made-in-Italy manufacturer founded in 2014, built on thirty years of heavy-engineering experience.

The rebrand introduces a renewed visual identity and a clarified market position across every channel where Roter speaks to its customers. The work goes beyond a new look. It aligns the company’s communication around a single, consistent story — from the website to the product literature to the conversations Roter’s engineers have with operators on the yard.

Roter’s vision is a recycling industry where Italian engineering sets the standard for reliability — where a baler is judged not by its specification sheet alone, but by the years it runs without letting an operation down. Our mission is to design and build heavy-duty balers and shear balers that process tough ferrous and non-ferrous scrap efficiently, and to stand behind every machine for its entire working life — with installation, training, remote support, technical assistance and guaranteed spare parts, delivered from Ferrara to wherever our customers operate.

In a market crowded with low-cost imports, the easy contest is over machine specifications. Roter has chosen to compete on the ground that actually determines whether a scrap yard stays profitable: uptime and support. Every Roter machine is delivered with a full-lifecycle service ecosystem — on-site installation and commissioning, operator and maintenance training, remote diagnostics, on-site technical assistance, and a guaranteed supply of spare parts from Ferrara. A baler that stops is a yard that stops. Roter’s differentiator is the infrastructure that keeps it running. The machines themselves reflect the same philosophy. The RR5 / RR6 balers install without foundations, cutting civil works and commissioning time. The RR715.6 shear baler combines compaction with cutting performance for mid-size yards caught between compact-only units and oversized fixed installations. The RA Series automatic balers handle continuous, high-throughput industrial scrap processing. Each is configured to the customer’s throughput, material mix and bale-density targets — ferrous, non-ferrous, end-of-life vehicles or mixed demolition.

As part of the rebrand, Roter is consolidating its communication so that customers, partners and press find the same clear story everywhere the company is present.
