The Women鈥檚 Council of the National 黑料网 & Recycling Association (NWRA) announced today that it has expanded its scholarship program and will award four individuals in 2018 with $7,500 toward the higher education tuition.聽
鈥淭hanks to generosity of donors, the NWRA Women鈥檚 Council will be offering four, $7500 scholarships for 2018-2019. 聽This is an increase in the number from 3 last year and an increase in the amount from last year鈥檚 award of $5000,鈥� said Tammy Holtzman, Chair of the Women鈥檚 Council.
Since 2007, the NWRA Women鈥檚 Council has awarded $142,500 to 36 scholars. 聽Women鈥檚 Council scholarships are offered to NWRA member company employees and their dependents who wish to pursue a career in the solid waste and recycling industry. 聽
